Reading AuctionBytes: eBay Provides Reed Construction Data to Users

eBay has entered into a marketing relationship with publisher Reed Construction Data. eBay promotional elements will be integrated throughout Reed Construction Data's MasterFormat directory hosted on ReedFirstSource.com and the Pre-Owned equipment guide on Associated Construction Publications website. And eBay users will be exposed to Reed Construction Data promotional material.

eBay users within the construction category will be able to view Reed's Top 10 projects, a daily updated list of the country's top 10 construction projects at http://www.ebaybusiness.com. Users can purchase a subscription to Reed Bulletin on the eBay site to get access to detailed information about Reed's Top 10 projects. eBay users will also have free access to a trial version of the RSMeans QuickCost calculator, which they can purchase online.

eBay estimates that more than 2.5 million eBay users work in the construction industry, according to Ben Hanna, senior category manager of Business and Industrial for eBay. Hanna said, "Offering easy access to Reed Construction Data seems to be a natural way for these users to enhance their eBay experience."
