Points International Ltd. has entered into a strategic agreement with Amazon.com, which will allow consumers to swap rewards program miles and points for merchandise sold by Amazon. Points.com enables consumers to consolidate and track their rewards-program accounts in one location.
To kick-off the new partnership with Amazon.com, Points.com will also launch a promotional campaign. Starting September 29th new consumers signing up at http://www.points.com/amazon will receive a welcome bonus in their favorite reward program and will also be automatically entered to win one of 10 prizes for a $200 Amazon.com Gift Certificate. Contest available to U.S. residents only and ends November 30th.
eBay cancelled its Anything Points program in July in the U.S. eBay had initiated the program, administered by Points.com, in 2003.
