Truition Client Wins 'Best Auction Site' Award

Truition, a leading provider of hosted ecommerce solutions for online retailers and eBay sellers, was recognized by the Web Marketing Association, winning 5 awards at its annual WebAwards competition.
Truition client work that received awards included MLB Advanced Media's MLB Auctions (http://auction.mlb.com), which won the "Best Auction Website" award in the Auction Category and the "Outstanding Website" award in the Sports Category.
In addition, NHL Auctions (http://auctions.nhl.com), also developed and designed by Truition, was awarded the "Standard of Excellence" award within the Sports Category. Other Truition "Standard of Excellence" awards include the Ty's Toy Box Storefront (http://www.tystoybox.com), and CompUSA Auctions http://www.compusaauctions.com). Entries were judged on the following seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, navigation and ease of use.
The Web Marketing Association (WMA) was founded in 1997 to set a high standard for marketing and web-site development on the Internet. The organization is comprised of marketing, advertising, public relations and web design professionals from around the world who share a passion for improving the quality of advertising, marketing and web site development on the Internet. Winners of the 2005 WebAward competition were selected from thousands of entries from over 33 countries, and past winners include some of the worlds' most renowned interactive agencies and ecommerce companies.
