PropertyRoom.com, an online auction site serving law enforcement agencies and consumers, announced the opening of its newest regional service center in Seattle. The processing center, which serves as a storage and distribution point for merchandise from law enforcement property rooms throughout the Northwest region, is PropertyRoom.com's third such center nationwide and is part of the company's ongoing expansion. The company also operates service centers in New York and Los Angeles, and plans to open additional regional centers in 2006.

PropertyRoom.com, a direct competitor with eBay, Overstock.com, Ubid.com, Yahoo.com and Amazon.com in the auction space, uses the service centers as regional collection points for thousands of items from police department property rooms region-wide, including stolen and forfeited consumer electronics, power tools, house wares, jewelry, and more. Consumers in the Pacific Northwest will now have the option to retrieve their purchased items at the Seattle service center.

PropertyRoom.com recently announced the addition of merchant sellers to its auction offerings.
