Overstock Auctions is expected to release basic auction-management features for sellers on Tuesday. Overstock Auction sellers have been clamoring for more features to help them manage inventory, block undesirable bidders and list more efficiently. Some enhanced functionality may come as early as today.
Overstock has promised sellers a delete feature and an archive feature. The company has also stated on message boards it has no plans to implement multi-unit auctions but is considering a store-type format next year.
Overstock Auctions reached the 1-year mark earlier this month, reporting that it has driven nearly $30 million in gross merchandise volume, more than 11 million unique listings and well over half a million registered users in its first year.
