eBay software provider AuctionWagon announced it has been acquired by Net2Auction Inc, which has 49 drop-off locations. Terms of the all-stock deal were not disclosed. AuctionWagon management will remain in place.
AuctionWagon's innovations include the AuctionWagon Network, a back-end processing service deployed to 23 eBay drop-off locations nationally; as well as the Store Manager Pro eBay consignment system. Deployed to 145 locations both nationally and internationally, Store Manager Pro allows eBay drop-off stores to fully manage their own eBay auctions including auction listings, inventory, payment processing, and all backend processing.
AuctionWagon opened its first eBay consignment store in November 2003 in West Hollywood, California, and became an eBay Trading Post. It then became an eBay certified developer and solely focused on auction processing services and software development. AuctionWagon currently markets its consignment software to drop-off stores, and maintains service deployment to a national affiliate network of 23 drop-off locations.
