iSold It, a leading national eBay drop-off chain, announced its year-to-date 2005 gross sales exceeded $20 million, with third-quarter sales up more than 1,400 percent vs. one year ago. With its two-year anniversary around the corner, the company has over 140 franchise stores now open, 600 stores under contract, and is opening a new store on average every three days.
iSold It said the chain has helped almost 100,000 customers launch over 400,000 auctions on the eBay platform. The company said in the two years since the drop-off store category began to gain momentum, over 600 independent and chain stores have been opened in strip malls across the country and is projected to grow to over 5,000 stores in the next five to seven years.
