OTWA and AuctionBytes Partner in Classified Ad Program
By Company-Issued Press Release
EcommerceBytes.com
October 24, 2005

Natick, MA, October 24, 2005 - The Online Traders Web Alliance (OTWA) and AuctionBytes have partnered to offer classified advertisements that will appear on both websites for one special low rate and increase exposure for users of both sites.

For $25, participants will receive a one-year classified ad on the OTWA Community Marketplace, and a one-year AuctionBytes Buyers Market ad. Users can advertise their auction listings, storefronts, businesses or individual items in the advertisements. The combined retail value of these classifieds exceeds $100.

"This collaborative effort, which offers a strong marketing opportunity, enables sellers to diversify and strengthen their business," said Jim Wells-Miller, President of OTWA.

Ads will be seen in the "OTWA / AuctionBytes Classifieds" section of the OTWA Community Marketplace and in the "Buyers Market" section of the AuctionBytes website for one year.

In addition to appearing in these sections, Buyers Market ads participating in this promotion will receive the following exposure:

  • Ads from both sites will be indexed by Google

  • Froogle, Google's shopping search engine, picks up ads appearing in the Buyers Market that include a PayPal "Buy Now" button

  • AuctionBytes Buyers Market Ads will appear on a rotating basis in AuctionBytes' two email newsletters going out to 35,000 subscribers

  • Ads will rotate on the OTWA Community Marketplace homepage

  • Ads will rotate as a 125x125 banner on the AuctionBytes home page

"This is a great way to brand your business on two sites that receive a combined 5 Million page views per month," said AuctionBytes president David Steiner.
