Andale posted a new message on its outage announcement board on November 7, 2005, at 4:30 PM PST. The company has decided to discontinue the use of the original database, which had become corrupted and caused the most recent outage on Friday, November 4th. The switch between databases will take place on early Wednesday morning.
Until the company switches to the new database, customers may have certain problems with Andale Lister and Andale Checkout, as well as issues with customer lists and Research and Reports data. The company said all these issues will be addressed when it switches to the new database.
