Reading AuctionBytes: BuySafe Doubles Bonded Items in Four Months

BuySafe, an online trust and safety company for ecommerce transactions, announced there are now over two million items available online that are bonded with BuySafe. The company added more than one million Bonded Items in less than four months. Consumers can find all Bonded Items at www.buysafeshopping.com, or on eBay, Overstock.com Auctions and Tias.com.

All Bonded Items contain the BuySafe Seal in their descriptions, which signifies that the merchant has passed the comprehensive BuySafe Business Inspection, and that the transaction is backed with a surety bond issued at no cost to the buyer by Liberty Mutual. This guarantees the purchase up to $25,000 and assures that the terms of the sale will be met.

"Online merchants are discovering that BuySafe's Bonded Shopping model can help increase consumer confidence, drive sales, convert shoppers to buyers, and promote customer loyalty," said Jeff Grass, CEO of BuySafe.
