Reading AuctionBytes: Online Auction Site WhaBam Announces New Options for Sellers

Online auction site WhaBam has created two new levels for its sellers, the Fee Saver and Fee Buster accounts. Fee Buster is a Platinum-level account offering unlimited selling of items for one fee of $49.95 per month. Sellers pay no listing fees and no fees for the final price of an item with the Fee Buster account.

The Fee Saver account allows sellers to pay only a commission fee when an item sells equal to one percent of the final selling price. The company said sellers with fewer items were feeling "left behind" with the regular subscription model. Sellers under the Fee Saver plan will incur no listing feess, no reserve-rpice fee and no image fee. In addition, the commission fee tops out at $25 per item.
