eBay launched its new Marketplace Research service in Australia this week. eBay Marketplace Research, which includes international data, launched two weeks ago on eBay.com (http://auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y05/m11/i10/s00). The new service offers sellers and buyers pricing, sales and other data to help them make more informed selling and buying decisions. eBay buyers can check Average Sold Price (ASP) to determine how much they should expect to pay for a product, and sellers can use the information to better plan and manage their businesses.
In the U.S., the service costs $2.99 for 2-day use, $9.99/month for a Basic plan, and $24.99/month for the Pro version. In Australia, the service is priced at AU$3.99 (Australian dollars) for 2-day use, AU$10.99/month for the Basic plan, and AU$29.99/month for the Pro version.
