Ecommerce Service Provider Interland Appoints Two Chief Officers

Interland, a leading provider of websites and online services for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), announced it hired a new Chief Marketing Officer and a new Chief Technology Officer. Interland offers a wide selection of online services, including standardized web hosting, ecommerce, application hosting, website development, online marketing and optimization tools.
Judy Hackett was named Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Interland. In that role, Hackett will serve as a key member of the executive team and is responsible for overseeing all marketing. Hackett has over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, marketing, advertising and brand development. She was Chief Marketing Officer at CareerBuilder and was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications at HeadHunter.NET. Hackett was also Senior Vice President of Marketing and Advertising for TBS Superstation, Turner Broadcasting’s flagship entertainment station. Hackett has held several roles in advertising and marketing at television stations, including General Marketing Manager and Creative Director at CBS and UPN Affiliates. Hackett has received numerous industry awards in her illustrious career including an EMMY, ADDY, PRSA Phoenix Award and Promax/BPME Gold Medallion. She graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Journalism.
Interland also named Vikas Rijsinghani as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. In that role, Rijsinghani will serve as a key member of the executive team and is responsible for overseeing all technology operations, development and product planning. Rijsinghani has extensive technical and management experience and has created and led technology divisions at several companies. He was Chief Technology Officer and a founding member of VerticalOne Corporation which was sold to S1 Corporation and was Chief Technology Officer at Proficient Systems. Previously, Rijsinghani was President of Neoglyphics Media Corporation, a website design and consulting firm. In addition, he held various senior technology management roles at Sun Microsystems and PriceWaterhouse. He graduated from Cornell University with dual degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
