Reading AuctionBytes: HammerTap Introduces New eBay Trending Method
|
HammerTap announced the release of Year-Ago data, a new method for determining eBay auction trends. HammerTap's DeepAnalysis now allows eBay sellers to research a 30-day snapshot of data from a year ago in order to identify selling trends for the coming month. For example, in June, sporting goods sellers can look back at fluctuations in supply and demand during July of the year before. Sellers can use this information to determine which products to sell and how to optimize their auctions to increase their profits.
"Year-Ago data is designed to help eBay sellers' pinpoint buyer habits more effectively than ever before," said Brian Clark, the company's Chief Technical Officer. "This new trending method is part of our mission to give sellers the information they need, not only to compete, but to grow their businesses."
