eBay UK has raised some fees for Stores, called eBay Shops in the UK. Effective February 22, 2006, the standard Insertion Fee will be lowered from 5p to 3p per listing. The Final Value (commission) fee will be raised, depending on the selling price.

For items with a selling price up to 29.99 pounds, the fee will increase from 5.25% to 6.75%. For items with a selling price of between 30.00 pounds and 599.99 pounds, the fee will increase from 3.25% to 3.75%. Final Value Fees for amounts over 600 pounds will remain unchanged at 1.75%.

Shops subscription fees and Feature fees for Shops items will remain unchanged. This change only affects Insertion and Final Value Fees for Shop Inventory Format items listed in an eBay Shop. Insertion Fees and Final Value Fees for all other listings are unaffected.

eBay UK will be adding Shops items to the main eBay UK search. (eBay made a similar announcement about Store search results on eBay.com on Wednesday.)
