Reuters reported last week that Rob Solomon, Vice President and General Manager of Yahoo Shopping, has left Yahoo to become CEO of travel search-engine SideStep. According to SideStep's press release, Solomon had been at Yahoo for six years (http://digbig.com/4gbed).
Yahoo Auctions falls under the Yahoo Shopping group. Last June, Solomon announced the move of Yahoo Auctions from a fee to free model (http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y05/m06/i07/s01).
A Yahoo spokesperson said Monday afternoon there was "no news so far" about Solomon's replacement.
