Hayman said Bid4Assets is poised for significant growth in 2006, with two overarching priorities set in its site: strengthening the company's brand and reinforcing its steadfast commitment to stay at the forefront of today's online technology. Laura A. Reimers is appointed Vice President, Marketing and Communications. Reimers will report to Hayman and is responsible for strategic marketing and communications planning, advertising, public relations, lead generation, brand development and market positioning. Prior to joining Bid4Assets, Reimers spent eight years at Discovery Communications, Inc., most recently, as Vice President, Communications for Discovery Health Channel.
Scott T. Smurthwaite, Ph.D, is promoted to the position of Chief Technology Officer. Smurthwaite, previously held the position of Bid4Assets' Senior Director, Web Development. Smurthwaite joined Bid4Assets in 2001.
Mark M. Wheeler is promoted to the position of Chief Information Officer. Wheeler was one of the company's first employees, hired in 1999, and responsible for Bid4Assets' technology platform and online services.
