eBay said a PayPal technical issue affecting sellers over the past few days has been resolved. The glitch caused some confirmed shipping addresses to appear as unconfirmed or caused some payments to appear without shipping addresses (http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y06/m01/i25/s02).
PayPal will treat eBay transactions for which the buyer paid between January 21 through January 26, 2006, at 11:30AM PST as eligible for the Seller Protection Policy (SPP) even if the shipping address was, or appeared to be, unconfirmed.
eBay said sellers who may have temporarily removed their preference to block payments from unconfirmed addresses are safe to reinstate that preference.
