eBay Australia is making changes to the way it displays the "Bank Deposit Express" information on View Item, Sell Your Item and select Checkout pages. It will remove the orange "Bank Deposit Express" logo and instead display the words "Bank Deposit Express." In April 2006, it will change the words "Bank Deposit Express" to "Bank Deposit (seller's bank details will be displayed on checkout)."
Bank Deposit Express allows sellers to display their bank account information to buyers after a listing ends, at which point buyers immediately deposit money in the sellers' bank account to pay for items (http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/pay/bankpay.html).
eBay said the ability to use "Bank Deposit Express" will not be reduced in any way, and winning bidders of items listed with the "Bank Deposit Express" option checked would still be provided with the seller's bank details on checkout.
