The new release of Google Desktop contains a new eBay plug-in called eBay Watcher that allows users to keep track of items on eBay watch lists. eBay users can track the current price and time remaining on auctions they are watching. Alan Lewis, technical evangelist in the eBay Developers Program, provided support and explains more on his blog (http://digbig.com/4gggk). The tool requires Windows 2000 operating system with Service Pack 3 and was released on February 9, 2006.
Google Desktop is a desktop search application that provides fulltext searching capability of a computer's files, including email, files, music, photos, chats and Google applications such as Gmail. The application must be downloaded to a user's computer.
