Advanced Video Communications announced the launch of Stickam media player. Stickam is a free video communications player offering live streaming video and video conferencing with unlimited bandwidth. Consumers can use Stickam to add live videoconferencing to their eBay auctions, websites, blogs and vlogs (video blogs) without having to download or install any software on their computer. Simply by cutting and pasting the Stickam JavaScript or HTML code into the appropriate area of the site of their choice, users can add full motion video, photos and music.
To celebrate the launch, the company is giving away five webcams a day for the next six weeks to randomly selected users who set up a free Stickam account, and every week, the user who refers the most friends will receive a free video iPod.
The Stickam player works on the Windows, Mac and Linux platforms and delivers high frame rate, full motion video that can be viewed by a virtually unlimited number of people at the same time.
