The DVD category felt the effects of Glacier Bay DVD becoming NARU (Not A Registered User). The hefty decrease of 19.47% in sell-through percentage for "DVD" can be partially accounted for by the disappearance of Glacier Bay DVD. Between January 29th and February 4th Glacier Bay DVD had close tens of thousands of listings that were unavailable for buyers and resulted in zero sales. We look forward to having you back next week when we'll see how DVD sales are effected by Glacier Bay DVD aftermath.
Take a look at the Jewelry and Watches category with the search term "ring". The Valentines effect resulted in positive growth in every category, more items, higher prices, higher sell-through, and more bids. The 8% jump in average price was the biggest price increase for any of the searches. Jewelry sellers should thank St. Valentine for the bountiful week.
