Registration for the fifth annual eBay Live conference opened on Friday. The 3-day event takes place this year in Las Vegas with classes, an exhibit hall where eBay and vendors show off their tools and services for buyers and sellers, and plenty of networking and entertainment. About 10,000 people attended last year's event in eBay's hometown of San Jose, California.
Jerry Greenfield of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream will be a special guest speaker, and eBay CEO Meg Whitman will give her keynote address on June 13. Huey Lewis and the News will perform at the gala on June 15. The cost of attending the event is $50 for attendees who register before April 15; $60 for those who register between April 16 and May 15; and $70 for those who register between May 16 and June 15.
The unofficial eBay Live Seller Meet & Greet, now in its fourth year, will take place on June 12 at 7pm at a nightclub called The Beach (http://digbig.com/4gmbc). The eBay and PayPal Developers Conference takes place during the days preceding eBay Live (http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y06/m02/i14/s01).
