Truition will integrate Omniture's SiteCatalyst product with Truition's Commerce Management System. Truition provides hosted ecommerce solutions for online retailers and eBay sellers. Integrating Omniture with the Truition platform will allow merchants to monitor consumer buying patterns in real time and adjust marketing efforts to maximize revenue opportunities. SiteCatalyst provides retailers with a 360-degree dashboard view of marketing efforts, including multiple views of different metrics such as conversion ratios.
While Truition customers can integrate SiteCatalyst into Truition's storefronts and proprietary online auction sites such as CompUSA, they cannot integrate it into public marketplaces such as eBay and Overstock.com Auctions. However, eBay has its own agreement with Omniture to provide metrics to eBay Storeowners.
