Here is the AuctionBytes online-auction news roundup for Wednesday, March 22, 2006.

Chinese news outlets reported that Tom Online, a mobile Internet company in China, might acquire eBay Eachnet. eBay's Director of Corporate Communications Hani Durzy said, "As with all rumors, we don't comment on them," but eBay Eachnet denied the rumors, according to a report from Pacific Epoch. Tom Online had entered into an agreement with Skype in 2004, before eBay acquired the VoIP service last year, according to a press release on Skype's website (http://www.skype.com/company/news/2004/tomonline.html).
