eBay Eachnet in China will launch online stores "in cooperation with 70 premium brands in China," including Phillips, Epson, Disney, TCL and Adidas, according to an AFX news story printed in Forbes.

Last week, eBay's rival in China Alibaba said its Taobao service is expanding its ecommerce model to include products and services provided by major manufacturers and retailers, having signed up such companies as Motorola, Nokia, Haier, Aigo, Lining, Adidas, Giordano, and UT Starcom (http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y06/m05/i11/s03).
