SmartShopper.com has launched uBidShopper, a new, downloadable, comparison-shopping software service designed for customers of the uBid online auction site. When users search for products or travel deals online, the uBidShopper tool appears in a separate browser pane with a list of relevant offers from uBid.com's related product categories. If an item is not available from uBid.com, the tool uses SmartShopper.com's technology to scour thousands of other online merchants and present a broad selection of product, travel and merchant information.
uBidShopper is based on SmartShopper.com's proprietary comparison shopping tool that scours the Internet to deliver the most competitive and relevant retail and travel offers.
Consumers can download uBidShopper for free from the uBid.com website. uBid.com will also make the tool accessible via cd-roms that will be shipped with customer deliveries.
