Reading AuctionBytes: Pixby Software Launches Fast Photos Pro in Public Beta

Pixby Software, LLC. has announced a public Beta Release of a new version of Fast Photos, Fast Photos Pro, that adds Batch features to Fast Photos, making it possible to automatically edit a folder full of images with one click.

Fast Photos Pro is a Windows application that is designed for serious auction sellers who need to speed their way through photo processing. It adds several new features to the base version of Fast Photos, most notably Batch processing using the Fast Photos Automation command. The Automation command makes it easy to apply a set of image editing commands with one click. For example, you can run the following commands at once with one click: resize, auto enhance, add borders or drop shadows, add text and JPEG optimize. Batch makes the Automation command work on an entire folder of images with one click. The built-in FTP upload feature makes it possible to upload those same images to an image hosting site with one more click. These tools make it possible for an auction seller to process their “photo workflow” very quickly, editing and uploading a set of images in minutes.

"We are pleased to be able to give our customers the number one feature they have asked for in Fast Photos – the ability to apply the Automation command to an entire folder full of images”, said Pixby Software founder David Allen. “Fast Photos is an effective way to edit auction images quickly and easily and now it's even more effective – you can edit lots of images with the same effort as one image. The Beta program is a good way for customers to try out the new features and give us suggestions on what they would like to see in the final product. We have already had some great suggestions from customers that will really improve the final product.”

The Beta Program
The Fast Photos Pro Beta program will run for several releases over the summer, with new and improved features added in each release. It is free of charge. To sign up and try it out go to the Pixby site at http://www.pixby.com/beta

Fast Photos at eBay Live
Cloud Dome is bundling Fast Photos as part of their "Auction" kit. "We are happy to team up with Pixby Software to offer Fast Photos as part of our Auction kit because it's the best way to edit auction photos. With Fast Photos, our customers will have the perfect solution to creating and editing perfect photos quickly." said Cindy Lichfield of Cloud Dome.

You can get the kit at Cloud Dome's booth #819 during the show.
