Mpire Adds Consignment Features, Runs Promo for eBay Sellers

Mpire introduced new consignment features to its eBay auction-management program and is running a summer seller promotion. New features in Mpire Builder include a consignment central page, a consignment supplier page, a consignment-items listing page and a streamlined method for entering items quickly.

  • Consignment supplier page: Mpire Builder now has a dedicated contact page where users can enter information specific only to consignment suppliers, such as the standard consignment plan to use when selling their merchandise.
  • Item quick entry: When somebody brings in one or more items to sell, consignment sellers want to get the items entered as quickly as possible. The Quick Entry page lets users fill in just the key information they need to receive the item or items, record any deposit paid by the consignment supplier and print a contract and itemized receipt.
  • Consignment items listing page: Once the items are received, they are automatically included on the consignment items listing page that allows sellers to quickly view the consignment items they've received and filter this view for a particular supplier. Mpire Researcher is integrated into the Builder listing page, making it easy to figure out exactly how to list each item for maximum results.
  • Closed items: Visual indicators will show at a glance when a consignment supplier's items are closed and ready for a statement to be generated. Mpire Builder also makes it simple to select a set of items and generate a professional-looking statement to print or email to a consignment supplier.

Mpire also released an updated version of its free research tool, Mpire Researcher, and announced a "Seller Summer Savings" program. Mpire Builder users who start paying for their service prior to July 15, 2006, will receive their first 90 days of service for $9.95 per month, a 60 percent savings off the normal $29.95 monthly rate.
