Marketworks, an ecommerce software solution for eBay and multi-channel sellers, announced the launch of its U.S. Managed eCommerce Solution. The new offering provides customers with a complete outsourced ecommerce solution that includes technology, online marketing expertise and day-to-day ecommerce operations. As part of the solution, managed ecommerce customers gain access to online marketplaces, shopping comparison sites and search-based buying.
Marketworks CEO Ken Powell said, "Our offering has been a tremendous success in the United Kingdom, with more than a dozen manufacturers engaged with Marketworks to move all types of inventory. In response to that success, we are now providing a fully-managed ecommerce offering for clients in the U.S."
Each managed ecommerce customer works with a dedicated account manager who creates a merchandising plan that incorporates Marketworks' knowledge in online channels, competitor products, online pricing and promotions. The service includes the multi-channel eCommerce Engine, ecommerce Web site design, online marketing services, daily operations and customer support management, and warehousing and fulfillment.
Companies such as 3M, Brother, B&Q and Vodafone currently use Marketworks' Managed eCommerce Solution.
