eBay will launch classifieds to eBay Motors UK in mid August. It will launch "eBay Motors Pro" to send classified ads to eBay Motors UK directly. For sellers who already use software to publish car listings on other websites, eBay is working with third-party software companies so sellers can ask those services to send Classified Ads to eBay Motors UK on their behalf.
eBay will charge a flat subscription fee of £150 a month to advertise as many as 100 cars a day. Classified ads will appear on the site alongside regular auction and Buy It Now listings
Earlier this year, eBay rolled out the Ad format to select U.S. categories such as Websites and Businesses for Sale, Travel, and Specialty Services. Previously, the ad format, which is similar to a classifieds format, had only been available in the real estate category on eBay.com (http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y06/m02/i24/s02).
