eBay will launch "Pre-Filled Item Information" as an optional listing method in several additional categories. The Pre-Fill feature is already available in media categories, such as Books, Movies, Music and Video Games, allowing sellers to enter the UPC, ISBN, Title or Manufacturer Part Number to find items. Pre-Fill allows sellers to quickly list products from information available in eBay's databases, including stock photos.

eBay said it would add Pre-Filled Item Information to the following categories: Consumer Electronics (CB Radios, Calculators, Phones); Computers and Networking (Routers); Cameras and Photo (Telescopes); Home and Garden (Vacuums, Coffee and Espresso Makers, Kitchen Cooktops); and Baby (Strollers, Car Seats). Sellers will be able to find available product information by searching by brand, product type or model number.

Pre-Filled Item Information will be available in the next week through eBay seller tools, including the Sell Your Item form, Turbo Lister or Selling Manager, and through the eBay API. Sellers who use a third-party listing service should contact the vendor.
