cMarket and Auctionpay will partner to offer a complete fundraising solution for nonprofit organizations. cMarket and Auctionpay, which focus solely on nonprofits, will work together to expand their menu of services, providing clients a convenient, integrated fundraising event - online, live or both.

Auctionpay's fundraising services include event-management software, an online registration and donation service, and on-site payment processing. With online auctions powered by cMarket, Auctionpay will be able to provide its nonprofit clients a way to preview, track and sell their auction items online before, during and after a live event, and as an added year-round fundraising opportunity. Auctionpay will brand the cMarket product as Auctionpay Online Auctions.

The partnership stems from the need for nonprofits to attract donations year round and take advantage of available technology to achieve fundraising goals, according to the press release announcing the partnership. It states more than 300,000 nonprofit auctions are held annually in the United States, raising $14 billion a year.

Auctionpay is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, with satellite offices around the country. Since 2002, Auctionpay has helped more than 3,800 schools and other nonprofit organizations in all 50 states, including chapters of the American Cancer Association, American Heart Association, America SCORES, the American Red Cross, and the March of Dimes and Ronald McDonald House.

cMarket, which was founded in 2003, has headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is the leading on-demand, online-auction platform solely for organizations engaged in fundraising for non-profit causes. With more than 1,500 customers, cMarket services national non-profit organizations such as United Way, JCC, Junior Achievement, Catholic Charities, The PTA, and the American Red Cross. cMarket also works with companies including Ford, Deloitte & Touche, Kimberly-Clark and General Electric to raise funds for their nonprofit causes.
