Reading AuctionBytes: Amazon to Include Item Condition in Packing Slips

In a move sure to please its sellers, Amazon announced Tuesday it would begin including additional information in packing slips and order details sent to customers. Amazon has started to display the item condition and seller comments in the order details and on the packing slip in the Manage Your Orders tool.

Booksellers have said they like having the buyers reminded of the description that was included on the product description because buyers may forget about flaws by the time their book arrives. Several sellers made positive comments about the changes on the Amazon Seller Community forum (http://www.amazonsellercommunity.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=121517)
