Shop.org, the online division of the National Retail Federation (NRF), announced today that Ken Eisner has joined the organization as Vice President of Marketing. In this position, Eisner will develop and execute marketing plans for all Shop.org events and research, oversee Shop.org membership recruitment and retention strategies, and grow the Shop.org brand.

Eisner comes to Shop.org from Simply Wireless, a distributors of cellular phones, where he served as Vice President. Prior to Simply Wireless, Eisner worked with a variety of companies from VarsityBooks.com to the National Football League. He holds Masters in Business Administration and Masters of Public Policy degrees from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell.

Shop.org is the network for retailers online. Its 600 members include the 10 largest retailers in the U.S., and 70 percent of the Internet Retailer Top 100 E-Retailers. Shop.org programs and activities include benchmarking research, events and networking communities. Founded in 1996, Shop.org became a division of the National Retail Federation in 2001.
