eBay and Google Join Retailing's Shop.org Board

eBay and Google exectives are among four new online retail executives who have been elected to the Board of Directors of Shop.org, the online division of the National Retail Federation (NRF). Newly elected Shop.org Board Members are: Gary Briggs, Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, eBay North America; John McAteer, Head of Retail, Google Inc.; Troy Brown, Senior Director & General Manager, The Timberland Company; and Denise Incandela, Senior Vice President of Saks Direct, Saks Fifth Avenue.

Additionally, four Shop.org Board members were reelected, including Elaine Rubin, Vice President, Amazon Enterprise Solutions, an Amazon Services group; Patti Freeman Evans, Senior Analyst, Retail, JupiterResearch; Mary Lou Kelley, Vice President E-commerce, L.L.Bean Inc.; and Sam Taylor, Senior Vice President, HP Direct, Hewlett-Packard.

Returning directors include Lorna Borenstein, Vice President, Yahoo Inc. and former Vice President and General Manager of eBay Fashion; Seth Greenberg, Group Manager - Online Advertising & Internet Media, Intuit Inc.; and Carrie Johnson, Vice President and Research Director, Forrester Research, as well as executives from Gap, JCPenney.com, Sears, QVC, Resource Interactive, National Retail Federation and Shop.org.

Shop.org is the network for retailers online whose membership includes interactive executives from store-based retailers, catalog-based retailers, Web-based retailers, and retail solution providers. Shop.org is holding its next annual summit in New York in October.
