eBay has added new features to the eBay Express fixed-price marketplace to help buyers find items, and it will soon add a wish-list feature.
eBay has added a "This Merchant's Items" tab on eBay Express item pages to help buyers see what else the seller has for sale. It has also added merchandised items at the bottom of each item page derived from the "Related Items" tab, which it says it has improved to show more relevant suggestions.
eBay also plans to add a wish-list feature that allows shoppers to add items they like to wish lists right from the item page and then make the lists available to anyone they choose.
eBay will also add an email component to its eBay Express Pulse feature that shows popular items. Buyers will be able to subscribe to the eBay Express Pulse email, which will highlight popular items in categories they have shopped in previously.
eBay said its new eBay Express marketplace, launched in the U.S. in June, features over 23 million listings. eBay launched eBay Express in Germany in August and in the UK earlier this month.
