Infopia won the "Breakthrough Application of the Year" award at salesforce.com's Dreamforce Expo last week in San Francisco. The award honors Infopia for creating a solution that enables merchants to integrate online selling activity from their website and online marketplaces, such as eBay, into salesforce.com's AppExchange platform.
The company also recently announced the appointment of three new executives to the Infopia senior management team: Ralf VonSosen as vice president of marketing, John Reagh as vice president of sales and Catherine Cherubino as vice president of business development.
In a press release, Infopia CEO Bjorn Espenes said, "With our $8 million funding round earlier this year and our new distinguished executives, Infopia is well positioned to drive our marketshare."
