eBay announced Wednesday it will launch additional categories on its new eBay Express marketplace in the next few weeks, including Collectible Kitchenware, Historical Memorabilia, and Model RR and Trains. eBay Express is targeted at convenience oriented shoppers looking for new, in-season items and allows them to purchase from up to ten sellers in one checkout transaction. eBay restricts eBay Express categories to those having a product attribute field called "Item Condition" with some exceptions found on this page (http://pages.ebay.com/sell/itemcondition/exceptions ).
Sellers must meet certain criteria in order for their listings to appear on eBay Express (http://pages.express.ebay.com/service/about/selling.html ), and only Fixed Price, Store Inventory and Auction-style with Buy It Now formats are eligible.
