Online-auction site Bidville will be closed this weekend. A message sent to users said the site will be offline from November 3 through November 6 for site upgrades. Bidville, founded in 1999, was acquired by uBid over the summer.
Bidville closed its discussion boards in September because they were "a significant burden" on operations. According to the September announcement, the company received almost as many daily customer service requests related to "issues" on the boards as they did for auction related activity.
