eBay UK apologized for problems sellers may have had with its Free Postage Listing Days promotion (http://pages.ebay.co.uk/sell/FreePPseller/index.html). Some sellers were not charged the special promotional price of 5 pence and may have incurred a fee to use the Gallery Listing Upgrade feature when listing eligible items.

eBay extended the promotion an additional day "in recognition of the inconvenience caused" and said any extra fees incurred for eligible items would be credited back to sellers within two weeks from the end of the promotional period.
