Vendio has launched Dealio Community where consumers can post bargains stemming from coupons, rebates, price matches, and more on virtually any product or service, online or off. Users can then rate the deals with a thumbs up or thumbs down, similar to how users can rate news articles on Digg.com. Users can also share with others how much they saved on a particular deal.
Vendio, which offers auction-management tools for eBay sellers, launched its Dealio comparison-shopping toolbar one year ago (http://www.vendio.com/company/pr/pr77.html). Sellers do not pay a fee for standard listings, and Dealio plans to roll out a pay-for-performance featured-placement option in the future.
Vendio announced a promotion rewarding users for actively contributing to the Dealio Community. Users who join the Dealio Community and post, revise, or share a deal with friends and family can win cash prizes of up to $2,500 (http://www.dealio.com/giveaway_rules.html).
