ChannelAdvisor announced it now supports eBay Ireland. The company, which provides ecommerce and auction-management services to merchants and eBay sellers, has locations in the U.S., England and Germany.
ChannelAdvisor also announced it had its first $10 million global gross merchandise value (GMV) day on Monday, December 4th, 2006. The ChannelAdvisor technology platform saw new record performance across all geographies and online channels including paid search, natural search, comparison shopping engines and marketplaces.
In addition to the $10m in GMV record on December 4th, several other transactional records were made:
- ChannelAdvisor's infrastructure housed over 18 million active inventory items globally
- ChannelAdvisor's platform managed over 11 million paid-search ads
- ChannelAdvisor's checkout system had over 43,000 transactions - representing $30 in GMV/per second
- ChannelAdvisor's comparison shopping solutions delivered over 200m items to comparison shopping engines
ChannelAdvisor supports marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon.com and Overstock.com; comparison shopping engines such as Shopping.com, Shopzilla, Nextag and Froogle; and search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN.
