eBay Reveals More PayPal Glitches
By Ina Steiner

eBay posted an announcement to its Systems board on Monday that some buyers are having problems paying for items with PayPal. It also told users it has received reports that some customers are unable to withdraw funds from their PayPal accounts. The problem would appear to have something to do with account-holders' email addresses.

PayPal had recently had problems connected to eBay's Checkout Redirect function (http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y07/m01/i15/s01). It's not known if the two glitches are connected.

eBay's announcement included instructions that could be used as a workaround to withdraw funds from accounts. An eBay seller dealing with the issue told AuctionBytes, "having someone send you an invoice works to send funds also."
