Tias.com, the Internet's oldest antiques & collectibles mall, announced it has begun testing a new "Make An Offer" feature. The new option displays in the site-wide search results, giving shoppers the option to either purchase an item immediately or "Make An Offer" to sellers that offer this option.
According to Phillip Davies, President of Tias.com, the antiques and collectibles market has shown rapid change over the past few years." It has become more and more difficult for sellers to keep up with market trends and the ever changing values of antiques and collectibles."
In an effort to help its merchants address these rapid pricing changes, Tias is expanding the visibility of the dynamic pricing offered by their "Make An Offer" purchase option, by integrating it into their inventory search results. Although TIAS has offered their merchants this pricing option for many years in their individual stores, this is the first time that the "Make An Offer" option has appeared in the popular site wide search of over half a million antiques and collectibles.
