eBay is making changes to some features and formats on eBay.com.au effective March 2, 2007. eBay Australia is introducing a 14-day duration for Motors Fixed Price listings. This new duration will incur a feature fee of AU$5. In addition, eBay Australia is introducing Best Offer to Classified Ads for Cars, Bikes, Boats and Other Vehicles. The insertion fee for Classified Ads in these categories remains the same at AU$19.95. An accepted offer will incur a Final Value fee.
For Real Estate listings, eBay Australia will decrease the insertion fee from AU$75 to AU$49.95. This fee includes free Gallery, Picture Pack (12 pictures), Picture Show, Gallery Plus and Subtitle. It is also introducing Classified Ads to this category. Both Classified Ads and Fixed Price format will have a duration option of 28 days. For auction the duration will remain the same.
eBay Australia's new Value Pack, which replaces the current Basic Upgrade Pack, will allow sellers to list items with Gallery, Subtitle and Listing Designer at a discount price.
