eBay Rolls Out Tool to Help Sellers with Questions from Shoppers

eBay announced it will roll out "Customized Question Subjects," which will make it easier for sellers to manage buyer questions about their listings. Currently, when a buyer uses the "Ask Seller a Question" feature on the item page, they have to select a standard subject such as "General question about this item" or "Question about shipping for this item." Beginning in the next few days, sellers will be able to create up to nine additional customized subjects, so sellers can more easily categorize and sort the types of questions buyers are asking.

The new feature is optional, and sellers may choose not to create any custom subjects. Sellers who do want to customize question subjects, should set their preferences in "My eBay."
