Amazon.com announced it had a glitch that caused some product listings accessed via Seller Storefronts to display incorrect or unrelated offers from other sellers. Sellers on the Amazon discussion boards began discussing the problem on the Wednesday evening and were unsure if it was a glitch or a new policy. Storefronts should display a seller's Marketplace listings exclusively, but sellers complained they were seeing items from other sellers in their Storefronts.
One seller stated that he reported the issue to Amazon on Thursday morning and said he was told he was the first one to report the problem. An announcement about the problem was posted on February 15 at 10:10 AM. Sellers were relieved to learn it was not an intentional change.
