MIVA merchants are now able to add BuySafe's trust seal and bonding services to their websites. MIVA Small Business Solutions is a leading provider of ecommerce software solutions to small and medium-sized businesses with over 60,000 customers. BuySafe for MIVA Merchant 5 is free for merchants, and the first 500 MIVA merchants that sign up for the service will earn a signing bonus of up to $5,000. BuySafe had announced the two companies would be working together back in December.
BuySafe launched as a bonding service exclusively for eBay sellers in 2003, and last year, the company began offering BuySafe Website Bonding through service providers such as storefront, shopping cart and checkout providers, and now allows merchants to use BuySafe on their websites directly.
