Online auction site PropertyRoom.com announced it has relaunched its website with enhanced features, an all-new auction platform and a more compelling, user-friendly look and feel, including several new interactive features for bidders. An "Ask a Question" function allows users to ask a question about a specific auction, and a Customer Service representative will post a response on the auction page for all bidders to see. The revamp also introduces five auction types for bidders, including English, Dutch, Yankee, reserved Price English and Fixed Price. The company said expanded search options and a "wish list" for bidders will allow it to gather intelligence and better understand its bidding community.
PropertyRoom.com is dedicated to online police auctions and was founded by former police officers. In addition to law enforcement clients, PropertyRoom.com works with select third-party sellers through its "Trusted Merchant” program.
"With all of these improvements, PropertyRoom.com is increasing buying opportunities for bidders and creating new selling and marketing partnership opportunities for merchants," said PJ Bellomo, COO of PropertyRoom.com. "We anticipate that the new PropertyRoom.com will deliver even higher sell-through rates for our already popular police and merchant auctions."
